Wine Review: This pale straw-colored Chenin Blanc opens with ripe Anjou pear and lemon-lime bouquet with hints of quince and pineapple. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium acidity. We also found it to be bright and mouthwatering. This flavor profile is a stony mineral and Anjou pear with hints of apricot, honeydew melon and yellow grapefruit. The finish is refreshing and nicely fades away. This Chenin is young and benefits from a little air. Open it early and give it a swirl to fully enjoy its potential. The Panel would pair this Chenin with oysters on half shell or with pan-seared scallops. Enjoy – KWGTP
