Wine Review: This medium straw-colored Chardonnay opens with a pineapple and mango bouquet with hints of Anjou pear, brioche, and apricot pit. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with plus acidity. The mouthfeel is bright and mouthwatering for a Chard. The flavor profile is a pineapple, baking spice and ripe Bartlett pear blend with notes of lemon verbena and oak. We also picked up some hints of toasted coconut and hazelnut. The finish is dry and refreshing. The Tasting Panel would pair this Chard with chicken Francese, chicken picatta, or with Fishbone’s seafood Mediterranean. Enjoy – KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: This alluring wine begins with aromas of fragrant pineapple, guava, lychee, lemon zest and tropical flowers, with hints of crème brûlée, vanilla bean and nutmeg. On the palate it is vibrant and mouthcoating, with toned acidity and notes of spicy French oak adding brightness and sophistication to lush layers of Meyer lemon, clementine, and exotic fruit.
