Wine Review: This midnight purple colored Cabernet Sauvignon opens with a black currant and oak bouquet with hints of blueberry, vanilla, and clove. On the palate, this wine is medium plus with integrated delicate acidity. The mouthfeel is exceptionally well-balanced, smooth, and silky. The flavor profile is a delicious blend of black currant and graphite with notes of gentle blackberry and rich dark chocolate. We also detected hints of black licorice, menthol, mild black tea, and subtle oak. The finish is dry and its dusty and refined tannins linger and last for a very very long time. The Tasting Panel would drink this outstanding Cab on its own. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Embodying the essence of great mountain-grown Cabernet Sauvignon and the majestic terroir or Pritchard Hill, this wine is gloriously opulent and elegant, immediately demanding attention with aromas of violet, black currant, ripe blackberry, graphite, and sweet smoke. As it opens up, fascinating layers of sandalwood and cardamom emerge, as well as hints of vanilla bean, nutmeg, dark chocolate and anise. On the impeccably balanced palate, complex flavors of ripe dark berries and spice dominate, framed by silky, polished tannins that carry the flavors to a long, epic finish.
