Wine Review: This pitch-black colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Chappellet opens with a pleasant black currant bouquet with a hint of faint black licorice. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced, lush and juicy. The flavor profile is a black plum and black currant blend with notes of graphite and a hint of nutmeg. The finish is dry and its well-managed tannins are nicely extended. This Cab would pair well with a veal chop. Enjoy - Ken
