Wine Review: This ruby colored Pinot Noir from the Anderson Valley opens with an appealing mild raspberry and plum bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and very easy to enjoy. The flavor profile is a tasty mild oak influenced red cherry with notes of minerality and gentle pomegranate. I also picked up a hint of plum and dash of black pepper. The finish is dry and its flavors linger last for quite a while. This wine is food friendly and would pair nicely with a tangy pulled pork sandwich. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Vibrant blueberry-strawberry fruit intertwines with aromas of dark-red rose, maple, licorice, and toasted hazelnut. On the palate, juicy raspberry, dark cocoa, and pennyroyal flavors emerge. Delicately-balanced acidity and crystalline minerality lead into a firmly structured finish.
