Wine Review: This easy drinking, cool climate Pinot Noir is medium ruby colored, with restrained aromas of ripe strawberry, earthy rhubarb, cedar, mushroom, and a hint of matchstick. On the palate it has a smooth and round mouthfeel, medium body, medium plus acidity, and is fresh and tangy. I found flavors of juicy red plum, rhubarb, and cedar, along with hints of strawberry, clay and salumi. Light, fine grained tannins, stick around for a bit in the dry finish. Serve with a platter of backyard barbecue chicken thighs. - Mark
Winemaker Notes: A symphony of flavors unfolds in the 2022 Pinot Noir, where succulent strawberry, tangy rhubarb, and the nostalgia of candy apple unite in harmonious balance. Juiciness is the heart of this wine’s character, upheld by a backbone of vibrant acidity and delicate tannins that contribute to its refined structure. A pure expression of coastal Pinot Noir.
