Wine Review: This straw colored un-oaked Chardonnay opens with an inviting mild apple bouquet with a hint of strawberry-banana. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and smooth. The flavor profile is a tasty pear and apple blend with nicely integrated minerality. I also detected hints of pineapple and white pepper. The finish is dry and its flavors linger and last for a while. This Chard is rather versatile and food friendly. It would pair well chicken and wild mushroom ravioli with a light cream sauce. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Tropical aromatics of juicy Mandarin, ripe kiwi and mango are highlighted by hints of apple blossom, lemon drop and refreshing minerality. The palate echoes the nose, revealing the Stainless winemaking with its round, weighty mouthfeel. Crisp acidity and flavors of white peach, pineapple and key lime pie filling round out the clean, lingering finish.
