Wine Review: This golden yellow colored Chardonnay from Chalone opens with a pineapple and lemon bouquet with a hint of oak. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round and fresh. The flavor profile is a lemon-lime and spiced baked apple blend with notes of peach and pineapple. The finish is dry and flavors linger and last for a very long time. This Chard would pair nicely with pasta carbonara. Enjoy - Ken
