Wine Review: This midnight purple colored Cabernet Sauvignon based blend opens with a blackberry and cola bouquet with hints of blueberry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is very nicely balanced, smooth, and savory. The flavor profile is a blackberry and stewed black plum blend with notes of cherry-cola, mocha, and boysenberry. I also detected hints of oak & blueberry. The finish is dry and its refined dusty tannins drift away nicely. I would pair this red blend in near term with a filet mignon. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Our 2019 Estate Red opens with savory aromas of black tea, leather, dark berries, and mocha. The palate is dense and rich with layers of black fruits, dark chocolate, and vanilla, framed by supple tannins. This wine will age beautifully over the next 15 years. Pair with a black and blue burger.
