Wine Review: This Excellent Chardonnay took top honors in our big blind tasting. It opens with a spicy pineapple and butterscotch bouquet with a hint of apple. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, extremely well balanced, and silky. The flavor profile is a delicious mild oak influenced Bosc pear with a hint of walnut, melted butter, and Gala apple. The finish is dry and its drifts away nicely over a long period of time. The panel suggested pairing this wine with grilled orange roughy with lemon and shallots. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Our 2009 Chardonnay is rich, concentrated and structured. The aromas and flavors feature white peach, golden delicious apples, vanilla and creme brulee. The palate is rich and concentrated with spice and toasted oak while fine natural acidity keeps the wine in balance.
