Wine Review: This delicious Petit Menseng based white blend from Uraguay is a pale golden yellow color. It displays aromas of white peach, orange blossom, and pear with hints of butter and sea breeze. On the palate, it is medium bodied with moderate acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced and creamy, yet it is also crisp and fresh. The flavors profile is a green apple, saline, tangerine blend with notes of green herbs and some hints of butter. Crisp dry finish. This is a versatile wine and paired nicely with an assortment of tapas. - Mark
Winemaker Notes: This white wine was developed during an R&D program. Exceptionally concentrated Petit Manseng and Viognier grapes from the Melilla estate, with maritime influence from the Río de la Plata and clay soils with calcareous influence. It is vinified in our cellar by gravity in Cerro Chapeu and fermented in new French oak barrels for 6 months. It is then bottled with minimal handling, to preserve its fresh and complex aromas.
