Wine Review: This light gold colored Vermentino opens with a chamomile tea and green apple bouquet with hints of almond, orange blossom, and honey. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel zesty, bright, and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is chamomile tea, green apple, and pink grapefruit blend with notes of almond, white pepper, and saline. I also detected hints of lime zest. The finish is dry and its flavors and acidity are nicely prolonged. I would pair the Vermentino with buttermilk fried walleye or crab cakes. Enjoy – Ken and Mark
