Wine Review: This Cab was a new one for the panel. It is slightly opaque and dark ruby colored. It opens with a fragrant red currant bouquet with hints of new leather, caramel, and strawberry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and round. The flavor profile is a slightly tart red currant with hints of red raspberry. The finish shows extended moderate tannins and it's dry. The panel suggested that this Cab was Pinot like and would pair well with grilled salmon or lamb chops. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: The flavors and aromas exhibit an elegant balance of fruit and silky tannins. Grown in the cooler Coombsville region, this elegant Cabernet combines dark blackberry and cassis with layers of dark cocoa and spice.
