Wine Review: This goldenrod-colored Riesling from Cave Spring opens with a golden raisin with apple cider bouquet with hints of honey and molasses. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is bright, very sweet and viscous. The flavor profile is apricot, golden raisin, and green tea blend with notes of dried pineapple, apple jelly, and clover honey. The finish remains sweet. The Tasting Panel would pair this Riesling with West Side Creamy vanilla ice cream. Enjoy – KWGTP
