Wine Review: This light yellow colored dessert wine opens with a fragrant apricot marmalade bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, slightly acidic and flavorful. Those flavors are a blend of black tea, peach and apricot. The finish is slightly sweet and its flavors are slightly prolonged. This Late Harvest Gewurztraminer would pair well with Italian anise cookies. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Very complex and intriguing aromas of honey and apricot from the noble rot "botrytis cinerea" show on the nose, with honeysuckle and a floral note of rose petals. It is very succulent and rich on the palate, and balanced with crisp acidity. Ideal with after dinner desserts of chocolate torte, creme brulee or baked fruit with an artisanal cheese selection.
