Wine Review: This opaque and very dark purple colored red blend opens with blueberry and pomegranate bouquet with a hint of pipe tobacco. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced, chewy, and completely coats your mouth. The flavor profile is an oak infused black cherry and red plum blend. I also detected hints of blueberry and red currant. The finish is rather dry and its sticky dusty tannins last for quite a while. This wine would pair nicely with a well-marbled ribeye steak. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Our Lady steps out more boldly than her older sisters with subtle fruit and earthy notes on the palate. Deep flavors of dark cherry and strong tannins ensure a bold character and a strong finish on the palate. She will soften and drink her best with a few more years cellaring. Capable of long term aging. This elegant "Super Tuscan" wine goes well with lamb, sausage, grilled steak, Venison or a great pasta dish such as Pappardelle with wild boar (Dario's favorite).
