Wine Review: This opaque and very dark ruby colored red blend opens with an old oak bouquet with a hint of black cherry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and smooth. The flavor profile is a tasty oak infused blackberry and plum blend with very nicely integrated old oak. I also detected hints black licorice and a dash of black pepper. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins are rather sticky and linger for a really long time. This wine is rather impressive and would pair well with a ribeye steak. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Color: Deep ruby red, with violet reflections. Bouquet: Enticing floral notes followed by black fruit and spice. Taste: Beautifully structured, with black cherry, cassis, and vanilla notes. Marries well with red meat, stews, hearty pasta dishes, and cheese.
