Wine Review: This opaque and midnight purple colored wine reflects the 2014 vintage. It was full bodied, smooth, elegant and well-balanced on the palate. The flavor profile is an enjoyable mild mineral infused black currant and gentle plum blend. We also detected hints of oak and olive along with a touch of black tea towards the end. The finish is dry and its well-managed mild tannins are nicely extended. This finesse wine was well received by all that tried it. It pairs well with a filet mignon. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Savory and bursting with sweet red and black fruit, the 2014 Proprietary Red is loaded with personality. Black cherry, licorice, and faint green peppercorn on the nose. The palate is tight and focused, showcasing violet, lavender, pablano pepper, atop blue and black fruits with hints of cherry.
