Wine Review: This very dark ruby colored Zin is just starting to come into its own. It opens with a very attractive spicy blueberry like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, nicely balanced, and very fruit forward. The flavor profile is a tasty red raspberry with notes of blackberry and hints of black pepper. The finish is quite dry and its noticeable tannins linger for quite sometime. Pair this impressive Zin with duck or venison. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Very complexly layered spice and black fruits, pretty blueberry fragrance, Creamy oak, a bit of vanilla, dark chocolate, brown spices-nutmeg/cinnamon. Rich in mouth, good structure for aging, a bit chewy in its youth.
