Wine Review: The nose on this Sonoma County Chardonnay is complex, with pungent dairy, wet slate and steamed broccoli aromas. On the palate, the wine is medium-plus in body, opening with braised pear and pink grapefruit flavors followed by a hint of almond toward the finish. The oak treatment is moderate and leaves a whipped butter mouthfeel. Some acidity further brightens the fruit, while the tannins are resolved. Enjoyed with salmon a la plancha. - Jeoff
Winemaker Notes: Soft creamy mouthfeel, punctuated by a sliver of bright acidity. Very food compatible with chicken, pork or fish!
