Wine Review: This midnight purple colored Malbec from Argentina come across more, Old World in style vs. New World. It opens with a black raspberry and pomegranate bouquet with hints of violets and black plum, On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is a bit angular and on the savory side. The flavor profile is a mild blackberry, black pepper, and black plum blend with notes of graphite and oolong. I also detected hints of oregano and oak. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity show nice length. I would pair this Malbec with a Hungarian goulash. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: The robe is intense with a deep ruby color. The nose is very fruity, with pure aromas of berry fruits, violets, and notes of blackcurrant. On the palate, the wine is round, fresh, and well-balanced. Displays generous aromas of blackberry and red fruits.
