Wine Review: This midnight purple colored Malbec based blend from Argentina is very good. It opens with a boysenberry and wet stone bouquet with hints of red plum and red cherry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, and concentrated. The flavor profile is a stewed red plum and graphite blend with notes of cranberry and oak. I also detected some hints of tobacco and light strawberry licorice in the mix. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and mild tannins fade away nicely. This wine would pair very well with a filet mignon. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: The nose reveals aromas of black fruit such as blackcurrant and blueberry. On the palate, the wine exhibits excellent balance, soft tannins confer its elegant structure and persistent freshness contributes to the harmonious finish.
