Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Malbec based wine opens with a red plum and red licorice bouquet. On the palate, this h wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The flavor profile is black plum and black cherry blend with notes of loam, black tea, and oak. I also detected hints of black pepper, black currant, and black licorice towards the end. The finish is dry, and its mild tannins fade away nicely. I would pair this very good value wine with homemade meatloaf. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: The robe is deep ruby in color. The nose is complex with aromas of cocoa, red fruits and figs layered with cinnamon and a touch of smokiness. The palate unveils seductive aromas of black fruit with very well-integrated oak. This wine has great balance and an exceptional freshness. Amancaya 2018 is pleasant to drink now and offer great aging potential.
