Wine Review: This medium ruby colored Malbec based wine opens with a barnyard and cedar plank bouquet with a hint of cherry-cola and violet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, delicate, smooth and well-balanced. The flavor profile is mild mineral influenced black plum with notes of mocha and cedar. There were also hints of cherry and red licorice mixed in. The finish is dry and its mild integrated tannins show nice length. The Panel would pair this wine with filet mignon or seared tuna with sesame seeds. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: This wine has a dark, intense color, with hints of violet. The nose reveals a complex mix of aromas including raspberry, black pepper, violets, cloves and subtle notes of dark chocolate. On the palate the wine is well-balanced with a refreshing acidity and ripe tannins that contribute to the harmony and smoothness of the palate.
