Wine Review: This white gold colored Pinot Gris from Drew Barrymore opens with a mild Bosc pear bouquet. On the palate, this wine is light to medium bodied and slightly acidic. The flavor profile is a mild mineral and green apple blend with hints of lemon verbena and a dash of white pepper. The finish is dry and pleasant. This easy to drink Pinot Grigio will compliment lots of foods. I would pair it with a garlic and herb butter roasted chicken. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: The 2016 Barrymore Pinot Grigio is crisp and refreshing with lively aromas of melon, white peach, and Asian pear. It is lush and juicy on the palate with layers of citrus. It ends with beautiful mouthwatering acidity that is a signature of our wines. This light-bodied wine is the perfect accompaniment to gnocchi in brown butter with fried sage or a Caprese salad.
