Wine Review: This dark red colored Tempranillo from Rioja is a good volume offering to put out at your summer parties. It opens with a mild black cherry and plum bouquet with hints of light oak. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and easy to drink. The flavor profile is a gentle red plum and cherry blend with hints of strawberry and gentle oak. The finish is dry, with no noticeable tannins. It fades away nicely. This wine is a very good and quite the quaffer. Pair it with barbecue chicken off the grill. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Color: Deep purple red and blue tones. Aroma: Well structured and complex floral nose with dark fruits as well as vanilla spice. Flavor: Complex, well-balanced while fresh and fruity. Food Pairing: A great match for grilled vegetables.
