Wine Review: This ruby colored Tempranillo from Carlos Serres is a very good mid-week option. It opens with a new leather and cranberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, acidic and juicy. The flavor profile is a cedar plank influenced red plum and cranberry blend with hints of red raspberry. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins stick around for quite a while. This value wine would be perfect with an Angus bacon burger. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Intense red fruit and spicy aroma with delicate liquorice hints. Complex, well-balanced while fresh and fruity.
