Wine Review: This pitch black colored Syrah from Spain is pretty good. It bouquet is not its strong point as it is a bit funky. However, the flavor profile is its strength. It displays tasty mild blackberry flavors with hints of black licorice and a touch of plum and a dash of black pepper. The finish is dry and its mild tannins are a tad sticky and a little prolonged. This wine would pair well bacon cheeseburger. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Dry and mineral with hints of black pepper, ripe red fruits and licorice. Pleasant and persistent finish with balanced tannins that open up in a broad finish.
