Wine Review: This dark red colored Pinot Noir from Oregon opens with a cherry-cola bouquet with hints of black plum and clove. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, bright and very fresh. The flavor profile is a blend of spiced plum, mushrooms and dried oregano along with notes of loam, cherry and a hint of clove and blueberry. The finish is dry and its flavors drift away nicely. This Pinot is food friendly and very easy to drink. I would pair this versatile wine with pan-seared pork chops with a cherry pan sauce. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Dark garnet in color, with robust tannins, 2018 will reward patience in the cellar. Black cherry and spice from the Wädenswil (43%) sets the tone, with savory earth and spice from the Dijon 114 (29%). Dijon 115 and 667 (14% each) bring pleasing finishing acidity. A little brawny, even for Inchinnan, but with some surprising early suppleness.
