Wine Review: This dark red colored Pinot Noir from Carabella opens with a mild red raspberry and cinnamon bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, very nicely balanced and has a round and smooth mouthfeel. The flavor profile is a tasty plum with notes of gentle blueberry and faint oak. There is also a touch of minerality at the very end. The finish is dry and its very gentle mild tannins and flavors drift away nicely. This finesse Pinot Noir from Oregon is going to be a crowd pleaser. Friends will quaff it with lightly seasoned grilled chicken. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: The 2016 benefitted from a warm summer, tempered by cool showers in late August. Featuring vibrant red fruit character, juicy acidity and balanced tannins.
