Wine Review: This very dark ruby colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Capture opens with an inviting black cherry and black raspberry bouquet with hints of pipe tobacco and violets. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with nicely integrated gentle acidity. The mouthfeel is super smooth, and slightly lush. The flavor profile is black cherry and fine mineral blend with notes of black currant. We also detect hints of black tea, oak, and touch of cranberry. The finish is dry, and its dusty tannins are very extended. The Panel would pair this Cab with sausage stuffed mushrooms or with beef bourguignon. Enjoy – KWGTP.
