Wine Review: This classic old school Italian red wine is opaque and pitch black colored. It opens with a new leather and black cherry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced and savory. The flavor profile is a tasty cedar and oak infused black currant with hints of black cherry, black pepper and a kiss of anise. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins show very nice length. This is a food friendly wine and would pair well with sausage and peppers. Enjoy - Ken
