Wine Review: This red colored wine opens with an attractive cherry and vanilla bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium balanced and very easy to drink. The flavor profile is a mild cherry with notes of gentle oak and a touch of minerality. This finish is dry and its moderate tannins linger nicely. This Sangiovese is very very food friendly and would be a great glass pour at an Italian restaurant. I would pair this wine with veal parmigianna. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Colour: quite dark ruby red. Bouquet: pervasive bouquet, very generous and varied, with hints of violet, raspberry and pomegranate. Flavour: warm, dry, generous, well-balanced. Food Combination: red meat, pasta with sauces, pulses soup, mature cheese. Serving Temperature: 18 C, better if uncorked 1- 2 hours before serving.
