Wine Review: This midnight purple colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Walla Walla opens with a fragrant black currant and wet stone bouquet with hints of black plum. The flavor profile is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is round, bright, and savory. The flavor profile is a concentrated blackberry and black currant blend with notes of oak, stony minerality and stewed black plum. I also detected hints of black tea and black pepper. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity and moderate tannins stick around for quite a while. I would pair this Cab with grilled steak tips. Enjoy - Ken
