Wine Review: This midnight purple colored Cabernet Sauvignon opens with a black currant and toasted coconut bouquet with hints of coriander, black raspberry, and leather. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied and with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is well-balanced and smooth. The flavor profile is a black currant and cedar blend with notes of blackberry pie. We also detected hints of chocolate, toasted coconut, and graphite mixed in. The finish is dry, and its polished moderate integrated tannins stick around for a while. The Tasting Panel would pair this Cab with filet mignon or with a beef and mushroom risotto. Enjoy – KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: This beautiful Cabernet Sauvignon bursts forth with dark-fruit aromas of blueberry, black plum, and blackberry cobbler, with lifted notes of violet and pomegranate, as well as hints of chocolate and marmalade. On the palate it is lush and hedonic, with voluptuous, mouthcoating layers of dark berries, robust, savory tannins and hints of cedar and sweet tobacco leaf that drive the wine to a rich and sophisticated finish.
