Wine Review: This pale straw-colored Coda di Volpe opens with a lemon and honeydew melon bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round and savory. The flavor profile is an Anjou pear and chalky minerality blend with notes of green tea, almond and lime zest. I also detected some hints of green apple mixed in. The finish is dry and refreshing. This wine was liked by all that tried it. I would serve this unique Italian white wine slightly chilled with oysters. Enjoy -Ken
