Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Spanish red opens with a pleasant black raspberry bouquet with hints of plum and wet stone. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, slightly acidic and rather juicy. The flavor profile is a lively ripe black plum with notes of nicely integrated minerality and hints of blackberry and black licorice. The finish is dry and its modest mild tannins do not get in the way. This very nice wine would pair well with a tangy pulled pork sandwich or a traditional Cuban sandwich. Enjoy – Ken
