Wine Review: This pale straw-colored Pinot Gris from Oregon opens with a fragrant pear bouquet with hints of lychee and pineapple. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, round, savory and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a tasty ripe pear with notes of minerality and honey. I also detected some hints of ginger, grapefruit and lychee. The finish is nicely prolonged. This Pinot Gris has a richness and flavor profile that make it best to enjoy on its own. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Pours a beautiful pale yellow, with aromas of honey, almond, acacia flower, citrus zest and Asian pear immediately out of the glass. A pleasant delineation on the palate introduces yellow apple, wet stones, and hints of melon with a clean finish that carries a kiss of spice. A classy, elegant white wine that will show well at dinner tables and cocktail parties alike.
