Wine Review: This light yellow colored Chardonnay from Cameron Hughes is very good. It opens with a pleasant vanilla oak and pear bouquet with hints of Brach's butterscotch. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced and rich. The flavor profile is a tasty vanilla oak infused mild apple and pear blend with notes faint lemon verbena. The finish is dry and its flavors drift away nicely. This Chard is very food friendly and would pair nicely with chicken cordon bleu. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Rich vanilla and tropical notes combine for a thrilling symphony of lush and lavish flavors, all carried on a honeyed beam of acidity…banana, clove, peach and pineapple with blossomy top notes and butterscotch bass notes. Lush and juicy on the palate with a seemingly endless finish, this creamy, beautiful wine will light up your palate.
