Wine Review: This opaque and dark ruby colored Cabernet from Howell Mountain opens with a mild boysenberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and juicy. The flavor profile is a blend of boysenberry jam and mild red currant. I also detected a touch of minerality, dark chocolate, and oak. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins linger for quite a while after the wine is gone. Pair this wine with beef satay. Enjoy - Ken
