Wine Review: This ruby red colored Malbec from Cameron Hughes opens with a mild red currant and plum bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, smooth, and easy to drink. The flavor profile is a gentle plum with notes of mild black raspberry and a hint of oak. The finish is dry and its mild tannins linger slightly. This wine would pair well with a thick and juicy Angus bacon burger. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Lot 258 Malbec has a deep violet color. Aromas of black cherry and plum carry through to the palate. Well-balanced with firm tannins and a long, smoky nish. Some Malbecs can fall flat, however this wine stays lively yet deep with great acidity and firm yet fine-grained tannins.
