Wine Review: This bright red colored Pinot Noir from Cambria opens with a fresh strawberry bouquet with hints of ripe red raspberry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied and nicely balanced between it acidity and fruit. The flavor profile is a tasty mild red raspberry and strawberry blend with nicely integrated gentle minerality and faint oak. The finish is dry and its mild tannins are nicely prolonged. We suggest pairing this very nice Pinot with a grilled salmon burger. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: The 2013 Julia's Vineyard Pinot Noir is deep, dark purple in color with abundant red fruit and dark berry aromas and flavors. The ever-present underlying earthy character complements its solid tannin structure and long fruity finish.
