Wine Review: This translucent and golden yellow colored Chardonnay opens with a fragrant pineapple and mild oak bouquet with hints of lemon custard. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is awesome. It is nicely balanced, creamy, smooth and a little dense. The flavor profile is a mild pineapple and gentle oak blend with notes of green tea and lemon verbena. I also detected some hints of white pepper and almond. The finish is dry and its flavors and acidity drift away nicely. I would pair this food friendly and versatile Chard with Weiner Schnitzel a la Roquefort. Enjoy - Ken
