Wine Review: This slightly cloudy white gold colored Aligote opens with a shy quince and honeydew melon bouquet with hints of crushed gravel and lemon verbena. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round and nicely coats your mouth. The flavor profile is a tasty chalky minerality and white tea blend with notes of green apple and lime. We also detected hints of fresh herbs, saline, and white pepper. The finish is dry, and its acidity and flavors linger for quite a while. The Tasting Panel would pair this Aligote with fatty sushi or seared scallops. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Grown at elevations reaching 2,200 feet, this alluring Aligoté draws you in with beautiful aromas of Meyer lemon, brioche, fresh herbs, and jasmine. On the palate, lively acidity adds poise and energy to the elegant green apple and Key lime flavors as they glide to a long, refreshing finish.
