Wine Review: This medium ruby colored Pinot Noir opens with a shy black plum and cola bouquet with a hint of dried herbs. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is smooth, ideally balanced, and deep. The flavor profile is very tasty black raspberry and red licorice blend with notes of dried leaves and stony minerality. We also detected a hint of tart cherry pie towards the end. The finish is dry, and its moderate tannins linger for a while. The Tasting Panel would pair this Excellent Pinot with a duck confit or with oxtail stew. Enjoy – KWGTP
