Wine Review: This slightly cloudy and medium garnet colored Pinot Noir opens with a mild red raspberry and faint funky oak bouquet with hints of red cherry and dried herbs. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is smooth, nicely balanced, and textured. The flavor profile is faint crushed stone influenced gentle strawberry with notes of juicy black raspberry and hint of clove and hibiscus tea. It closes with a lovely dry and lingering finish. The Tasting Panel would pair this Pinot with Rachel Ray’s plum good pork chops. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: In 2019, this cool, windswept mountain vineyard produced a beautifully bright and elegant Pinot Noir with lavish aromas of raspberry, ripe cherry, cola, and hints of forest floor. On the palate, it strikes a seamless balance between acid and tannin, framing the lush raspberry and blackberry flavors as they glide to a long, vibrant finish.
