Wine Review: This pale gold colored Chardonnay opens with a ripe cantaloupe and pineapple bouquet with hints of pear. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with medium acidity. The flavor profile is pineapple and Anjou pear blend with notes of almond, chalky minerality and oak. I also detected hints of green melon and saline. The finish is dry and its flavors and acidity show nice length. I would pair this very food friendly Chard with chicken piccata. Enjoy - Ken
