Wine Review: This pale ruby colored Pinot Noir opens with an inviting stewed red plum, black raspberry and cinnamon bouquet with hints of clove. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied, balanced, smooth and rich. The flavor profile is red plum and black cherry blend with notes of earthy minerality. We also detected hints of clove, cinnamon and brown sugar mixed in. The finish is dry and its flavors and fine-grained tannins subtly fades away. The Panel would pair this Pinot with a grilled pork tenderloin with fried sage butter sauce or Sheri’s sausage stuffed mushrooms. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: A classic expression of Santa Lucia Highlands Pinot Noir, this wine displays alluring aromas of ripe black cherry and strawberry, as well as hints of dried tea leaves. On the lush, expansive palate, velvety tannins accentuate to the luxurious black raspberry and plum flavors, while carrying the wine to a long, elegant finish.
