Wine Review: This medium golden yellow colored Viognier opens with a mild rose and gentle vanilla bouquet with hints of apricot, mango and Easter rice pie. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, well-balanced, soft and creamy. The flavor profile is mild mineral, lemon verbena and vanilla crème soda blend with hints of peach, tangerine and banana. The finish is dry, elegant and refreshing. The Panel would pair this Viognier with a baked citrus orange roughy. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: To preserve its more delicate aromas while creating a lovely textural quality, this cool-climate Viognier was fermented entirely in concrete. On the nose, dazzling aromas of lemongrass and stone fruits leap from the glass. The palate is beautifully round and flowing, revealing flavors of juicy peach, nectarine and lemon zest, with an undercurrent of bright acidity adding energy and elegance to the bright, lingering finish.
