Wine Review: This red colored Pinot Noir from Calera is very good. It opens with a pleasant mild strawberry bouquet with a hint of red cherry and dried flowers. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, nicely balanced and smooth. The flavor profile is a very tasty plum with hints of strawberry, cinnamon, clove and pomegranate. The finish is dry and its flavors drift away nicely. Our mini-tasting group suggested pairing this Pinot with grilled Artic Char or Norwegian salmon. Enjoy – Ken
